About the course

**Discounts are available for this course, including Funded Places for staff and students of University of Edinburgh and NHS Lothian. Please see funding and discounts section below.**

It takes on average 17 years for clinical research to turn into policy and practice. How do we reduce this gap?

This half-day workshop offers an introduction to knowledge mobilisation (KM) as an approach to enable research impact. Knowledge Mobilisation challenges the one-way dissemination of research which often occurs at the end of a research project and instead advocates for an integrative, two-way and co-produced approach to impact.

Whilst there is no one right way to “do knowledge mobilisation”, this course will offer insights into key components of and approaches to knowledge mobilisation. The course will include real-world examples and practical tips which attendees can apply to their research projects.

If you want to place an order on behalf of someone else, please email education@edinburghcrf.ed.ac.uk.
