This course is designed to give practical guidance for setting up and running a Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) group for clinical research. In this course we will cover:
How to approach recruitment
“Behind the scenes” groundwork to help make your group a success
Different meeting formats – and whether a PPI group is right for your project
Building sustainable relationships with your public partners
Considerations for under-served groups
Budgeting for your PPI activities and non-monetary rewards
Capturing impact and involving your public partners in dissemination
Common problems and how to resolve them
This course will be delivered via MS Teams.
