About the course
This course is the first step of three progressive steps to complete our beginners level in Russian.
In this course, which is taught in Russian, you will learn to read and write the Russian alphabet. You will also learn to introduce yourself, ask basic questions about others as well as talk about your family and friends.
You will develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through a variety of learning activities in class and at home. Class based activities include small-group role-plays, responding to short texts, listening to dialogues or watching video clips. Language learning requires regular practice, and you will consolidate your skills at home, with vocabulary, grammar and writing exercises.
You will need to buy two textbooks (see below). You will also need access to a computer or another device with an internet connection to be able to use our learning platform.
What you'll learn

- Talk about your family and friends
The above list is indicative and may be subject to change.
