About the course
This is a 5-week course with weekly 1-hour online workshops supplemented with a variety of practical and engaging resources to support your teaching and learning.
The online workshops take place on a Tuesday 4:00 - 5:00pm and are delivered by the CALL Scotland team.
This course is pitched at beginners level and is suitable for all teachers, Support for Learning teachers, Pupil Support Assistants and other professionals working with primary and secondary pupils.
Aims of the course
Our main aim is that you enjoy the course and learn something new!
- Develop an understanding of different technologies and how they can be used to support dyslexic learners.
- Extend and enhance your knowledge of best practices when using technology with dyslexic learners.
- Consider and engage with assistive technology assessment frameworks to provide appropriate technologies to meet different learning needs.
- Increase confidence when working with technology to address barriers to learning.
