This course is taught by subject area experts online through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous activity, including engagement with discussion boards. The course involves 8 hours of contact spread over 7 weeks. The course covers various aspects of space data, including:
- Launch systems
- Antennas and communications
- Power, attitude, and control systems
- Payloads and integration
- Calibration and operations (including ground stations)
- Case studies on various aspects of spacecraft operations
